Region’s largest consumer golf expo hits Santa Clara Convention Center, Mar. 11-13 2011
Come and See Forever Putting Greens At this years Bay Area Golf Show!
SANTA CLARA — Producers of the 2011 Bay Area Golf Show announced Tuesday that they have further incentivized Bay Area golfers to attend next month’s Bay Area Golf Show by securing 2-for-1 golf from two additional Northern California courses — an added value of more than $50!
The three-day show — the Bay Area’s largest annual consumer golf expo — comes to town Mar. 11-13 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Tickets, exhibitor information, lists of activities and more are available online at bayareagolfshow.com.
Adding to the already outstanding giveaway package are Monterey Bay’s Bayonet Black Horse and Mountain View’s Shoreline Links, each of whom will give show attendees a coupon good for 2-for-1 greens fees (Shoreline Links rounds limited to the first 1,000 each day, some restrictions apply, see website for details). That’s in addition to a free greens fee at Spring Valley for the first 1,000 each day, a sleeve of Bridgestone balls to the first 500 each day and a one-year subscription to Golf Digest or Golf World to all attendees — in all, a maximum value of over $100!
In fact, for no more than the cost of a $10 ticket, all show attendees will enjoy:
• Over $100 in giveaways, including a free round of golf, 2-for-1 greens fees, a sleeve of balls a Golf Digest subscription and more!
• Sale prices on over $1 million in golf clubs, accessories and apparel from the biggest names in golf!
• An absolutely free indoor Demo Line featuring reps from up to a dozen major manufacturers showcasing the hot new products!
• Over 100 exhibitors featuring Forever Putting Greens, making special, show-only offers on local golf courses, products and services
• Fun skills contests that give attendees the chance to win clubs, free rounds and dream stay-and-play vacations
• Free lessons from top PGA pros
• And more!
Over 5,000 golfers turned out for the show in 2010, and producers and sponsors alike have expressed confidence that this year’s much-anticipated move to the Santa Clara Convention Center — located at the crossroads of the San Jose, East Bay and Peninsula population centers, and the heart of the Bay Area’s high-end golf marketplace — will allow even more golfers to pack the hall in 2011.
Marketing for the 2011 Bay Area Golf Show is in full swing, with print, radio and television ads running throughout the winter in every corner of the Bay Area media market. In addition to benefiting from Varsity’s $150,000 advertising campaign, all Bay Area Golf Show exhibitors will receive leads generated from the show’s enter-to-win contests, and will have the opportunity to take advantage of special product booth rates and on-site promotional opportunities.

Nearly 50% of the 2010 top 25 BCS football teams use synthetic field turf to score winning seasons.
“Over the past decade, we have seen a steady increase in the amount of winning teams that play and practice regularly on synthetic field,” noted Rick Doyle, President of the Synthetic Turf Council. “These fields have created more opportunities for America’s amateur athletes to play and practice football without worrying about weather disruptions or over-used natural playing surfaces.”
More than 6,000 synthetic turf playing fields are currently in use throughout the United States. Each year, its usage conserves billions of gallons of water, millions of pounds of pesticides and fertilizers and recycles 25 million used tires that would otherwise go to landfills. About half of all NFL teams currently play on synthetic field turf, and it was approved by FIFA for the 2010 World Cup soccer competition in South Africa. “Synthetic Turf fields are an ideal choice for any high school, club sports team, or recreational sports facility. Their ability to accommodate high usage for multiple sports, the elimination of using natural resources, and actually being considered safer than natural sports fields makes them the perfect choice.”
The runner-up (#2) BCS champions the Oregon Ducks play on a synthetic turf field at Autzen Stadium, as well as other notable college football teams like the Boise State Broncos that play on the “Blue Plastic Tundra”, which has the best home record (38-1) in the nation over the past five years at Bronco Stadium, and the newly installed RED hot turf nicknamed the “Bloodrug” that the Eastern Washington Eagles plays on.
No wonder the top teams in the nation play on Artificial Turf on a regular basis, it has been proven to make America’s collegiate athletes better. College football players’ times on a standard agility drill were 3% faster on Artificial Turf fields than on natural grass, but there was little difference in their times for the 40-yard dash. The study included 24 players whose average on the 40-yard dash turned out to be 5.34 seconds on Artificial Turf and 5.33 seconds on natural grass. Their average on the pro-agility shuttle test was 4.49 seconds on Synthetic Turf and 4.64 seconds on natural grass. So call Forever Green when considering artifical turf for your athletic fields or grass today!

We strive to make our bosses happy. The only boss we listen to is YOU the customer, that’s why Forever Putting Greens won the “best of Livermore” award from the US Commerce Association for customer satisfaction in 2009. We love to keep customers happy with our attention to detail and follow up calls. Not only do we install state of the art landscape grass, we also install playground grass that comes equipped with a 12 foot fall rating to go beneath play structures as well as Dog Grass that is perfect for your dog run or pet area. Some of our products come with a 10 year warranty……longest warranty in the business. Also, we like to utilized high face weight turf products. Face weight is a measurement of the thickness or density. While our competitors sell you a sparse product and fill it with messy crumb rubber like a football field, we simply use more beautiful fibers.
For people who just love the look of a low face weight product or for those people with dogs, we offer an acrylic sand infill product. Rubber and silica sand retain moisture so they are not the best to use if you have multiple dogs “going’ on the grass. The green colored acrylic sand takes the place of rubber and silica sand, it doesn’t retain moisture and it adds another green hue to the lawn.
